Dishie Rentals

Val and Lee are a fantastic couple that initially contacted us to rent vintage furniture and decor pieces for their Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom inspired wedding (complete with reception in a restored 1930’s dining lodge on a private campground in the middle of the Ocala National Forest).  Several months later, they won Cupcake Vineyards “Love Deliciously Dream Wedding”contest, which gifted them a fabulous wedding package including photography by the talented Elizabeth Messina and design + planning services by Alison Events.  Thanks to this package, we were also able to contribute even more of our fabulous pieces to their big day.  Add to this some of my own favorite vendors, including Dishie Rentals, Natalie Bowen Designs and DJ Jacob Towe, and it’s no surprise that their wedding was such a super dreamy, romantic celebration!  Head over to the great two-part feature on Green Wedding Shoes (part 1 and part 2) for even more of this stunning wedding!

Just a few short months ago, we teamed up again with Best Photography on this gorgeous fall inspiration styled shoot.  How can you go wrong with the incredible pine tree field setting, whimsical bridal gown courtesy of Solutions Bridal, and tasty treats from The Sugar Suite and P is for Pie?  You’d never guess that we were swatting mosquitoes, dodging cow patties and rain filled ditches, while threatening thunder and lightening loomed on the horizon.  However, the team worked together quickly to style and capture the gorgeous images recently featured on Green Wedding Shoes.

Rachel from Best Photography hand-carved the apple cups for our Hot Apple Cider Table…a little something to help keep you warm on a crisp fall evening! Don’t they look yummy?

Rather than mismatch every chair, we opted to mismatch our chairs in pairs for this shoot to emphasize the intimacy of the couple.

I am in love with the blush dahlias that Jenn Aquilia from Freshly Picked Flowers so artfully designed around our antlers for the perfect fall arrangement.  And doesn’t Dishie Rentals’ colored glassware, gold flatware, and fall inspired (plaid!) dinnerware looks right at home on our hand-crafted reclaimed barn wood Farm Table?

Our Peddler’s Cart made its debut at this shoot and I was happy to style all of the delicious goodies from P is for Pie as a dessert display. Even the deer came out for a taste!

Who else is loving our Whiskey Barrel as a cake table for the fruit and flower-accented cake from The Sugar Suite?  Many thanks to the other great vendors who made this shoot another successful feature!

And the romantic video from Imprint Cinema!
